Breaking Babies

Andrea takes pride in her background with breaking babies and working with young horses. She started out early in life by breaking all of her own babies that she and Connie bred. She took notes from other well known horsemen and groundwork trainers and has focused that towards her own babies and once starting Estrella Equestrian as a business, has broken a multitude of clients baby horses. Andrea takes pride in having taken many of these lovely babies to the highest levels of the sport- if not herself, after being sold, they have gone on to have bright careers.

Retraining Racehorses for Sport

Andrea has a knack for working with horses straight off the track. Her patient and compassionate demeanor lends her towards understanding the sensitive thoroughbred type. A large part of her career has been working with thoroughbreds. Whether you’d like to have your OTTB trained or sold, she can help.

Training and Competition Horses

Whether your horse needs a quick tune up or a more long term competition career, Andrea can help. While the majority of Andrea’s competition successes have been with young horses she has started herself, she also takes in horses at any stage of their training.
